Mysteries of the Burning Bush opens at Gatakers Artspace, Maryborough

What a wonderful night Friday night’s opening was at Gakaters Artspace Maryborough! Lots of friends were there to celebrate three great openings of works with a message! Thanks to all the friends and supporters of the Mary River, especially the Sisters of Mary, and my dear Toastmaster friends Audrey, Helen and Sheryl. Thanks Audrey Plate for your eloquent opening speech! Another highlight was seeing a little red sticker already on one of the major works. It was bought by a visitor to the gallery before the opening!
I want to sincerely thank the Gatakers Artspace staff, Trevor and Susan and their team, for their care and taste in presenting my rather unusual works, you really made them sing! I also made a dozen a so small cards featuring some of the hand-made papers in the exhibition and reproductions of some of the works for sale under $10. I want those who can’t afford large pieces to have something they can afford. The exhibition runs until April 2 if you want to catch it. Gatakers Artspace is at 311 Kent St Maryborough and they are open weekends both days from 10am until 1pm.
